William (Bill) A. Provencher Jr., 72, The Villages, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Mr. Provencher was born in Salem, Massachusetts, raised in Jacksonville, FL and moved to The Villages from Andover, NJ in 2001.
He worked for and retired from the Prudential Insurance Company as a senior computer systems analyst. He was a US Marine Corps veteran; was a member of the American Legion Post 347and the Marine Corps League Detachment 1267. He was of the Roman Catholic faith. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed computers, reading and enjoying life.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; and sisters Michele Rossie, Ponte Vedra, FL and Sandra Ackland, Jacksonville Beach, FL.
A private inurnment ceremony will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Shore Animal League, Port Washington Shopping Center, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050.
