William Gorman ‘Bill’ Hale

William (Bill) Hale, age 78, Summerfield, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was born in Baughman, KY on July 3, 1937 Bill was a member of the Daleville Lodge No. 903, F&AM of Alabama, Order of the Eastern Star, Leesburg Chapter No. 84, Scottish Rite of Dothan, Alabama. He retired from the Army in 1979 after serving for 26 years. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Andrews Hale, six children: Denise Hale Manghi, Dillon, SC; Julie Hale Hodges, Hartsville, SC; James E. Hale, Dillon, SC, Sherry Hale Williams, Summerfield, FL; Kristopher D. Hale, Lady Lake, FL, Jennifer Hale VanNoy, Troy, PA. Ten Grandchildren, Alecea Manghi Floyd, Zackary Johnson, Sabastian Williams, Dalton Revels, Brieanna Williams, Dylan VanNoy, Karissa Hale, Kirsten Hale, Jackson VanNoy, and McKinlee Hodges and one Great Grandchild, Tony Kayden Floyd. There will be a Funeral Service at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 3 p.m. with a viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital, 12502 Pine drive, Tampa, FL 33612 or St. Jude’s Research Hospital for Children, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
