William S. Lett, Jr., 76, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at The Villages Hospital. William was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and retired to Florida in the year 2000. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. William enjoyed golf, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include wife of 47 years Sandra Lett; sons Paul Watson and Stuart Lett (Laurie); daughter Teresa Dart (Trever); sisters Janet Williams, Pat Mayerle, Sandie Lett, Linda Lett; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Mildred and William Lett, Sr.; sister Barb Shuler.
There will be a gathering from 10 – 11 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159. He will be interred at Florida National Cemetery.
