A fellow diner who suspected a woman had been drinking too much at the bar at Applebee’s blocked her Lincoln in the parking lot and called police.

Lady Lake police were called at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to the restaurant on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages.

The driver of a truck told police he had seen 58-year-old Colleen Raye Shaut of Lady Lake inside the bar, talking loudly and acting “rowdy,” the arrest report indicated.

Once he saw her moving toward her Lincoln in the parking lot, the driver determined he was going to prevent her from leaving, the arrest report indicated.

Shaut failed field sobriety exercises. She provided breath samples that registered .229 and .224, the arrest report indicated.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail on $1,000 bond.
