Woman arrested after allegedly throwing dishes, kitchen utensils at man

A 52-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly threw dishes and kitchen utensils at a man Saturday during an altercation.

Florence Amanda Beauvais was arrested by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies at about 7 p.m. Saturday at a residence on County Road 115A in Lady Lake.

When law enforcement arrived, the victim reported that Beauvais had become irate and began throwing dishes and kitchen utensils at him.

The arrest report indicated that Beauvais appeared to have been drinking. She was arrested on a felony charge of battery.

She had previously been convicted of domestic battery in 2005.

She was booked without bond at the Sumter County Detention Cent
