A 41-year-old Lady Lake woman has been arrested on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Debra Ann Holloway was arrested at about 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 by Lady Lake police officers at her residence in the 1000 block of Hibiscus Street.

Police had been alerted by a driver who reported that a truck had struck his vehicle on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at Hartsock Sawmill Road. That driver had followed Holloway’s truck to her residence and called police.

Holloway told officers she had consumed “three shots” and stopped to buy some beer on her way home, according to the arrest report. She told officers that she may have hit someone on her way home, the arrest report indicated.

She failed field sobriety exercises.

She was transported to the Lake County Jail and later posted $2,500 bond and was released with a Sept. 2 court date.
