A woman arrested in a summer raid in The Villages is now serving time in a Florida prison.

Charlotte Gajewsky, 45, is serving a sentence of one year and nine months at the Lowell Correctional Center in Marion County. She is scheduled for release on March 16, 2019.

She was among five people hauled away in handcuffs June 21 from a home in the Village of Palo Alto.

It was not her first brush with the law.

In 2015, Gajewsky was living on the Historic Side when she was arrested in connection with the theft of jewelry from a Villager who had been hospitalized.
