A woman was arrested on a trespassing charge early Saturday morning at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.

Tammy Lynn Hayward, 40, of Leesburg, was with a man and two juveniles in a car in the parking lot when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy was summoned. The group had been acting suspiciously, the report indicated.

A check revealed that Hayward had been placed on a trespass log at the store in May.

She was arrested on a charge of trespassing and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $1,000 bond.
