An Ocala woman reported that someone tried to use her bank information in an attempted purchase at Home Depot in Lady Lake.
The woman learned from her bank that someone had tried to use her information in a $165.45 purchase at the home improvement store on Oct. 15, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The transaction had been rejected by Home Depot.
The woman’s bank had advised her to file a police report.
