Woman to take anger management after scuffle with manager at Spanish Springs nightspot

A 24-year-old woman will have to take an anger management course and write letters of a apology after a scuffle with a manager at a nightspot in Spanish Springs Town Square.

Haley Ratliff, 24, of Leesburg, had been ordered to appear in Lake County Court after the fracas in January at Margarita Republic. In addition to the anger management class, she has been ordered to write letters of apology to the restaurant’s manager and a server.

On Jan. 7, Ratliff threw a drink at the manager and “went crazy” after he tried to restrain her, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Then she struck the server, the report indicated.

Ratliff has also been ordered to stay out of Margarita Republic.

A case against her boyfriend, 25-year-old Travis Evans of Fruitland Park, is still pending. He was also involved in the incident.
