Timothy Andrew Howell,  44, of Fruitland Park, was reportedly intoxicated and beating on the window of a neighbor’s home in Fruitland Park at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. Howell told a police officer he would go back into his home and go to bed.

However, after the officer left, Howell allegedly came back out and returned to the neighbor’s house. The woman took a photo of Howell’s hand reaching into her window, the report indicated. By the time police returned to the scene, Howell went back into his house again. In an attempt to catch him in the act, one of the officers left in a patrol car while another officer remained at the scene out of sight. As soon as Howell thought the coast was clear, he came back out and was arrested.

He was booked on a charge of disorderly intoxication at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $500.
