An Ocala woman without automobile insurance was arrested after she was caught back behind the wheel of a car Wednesday in Wildwood.

Clynisha Casandra Edwards, 28, had been westbound on State Road 44 at 4:49p.m. when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy noticed the vehicle she was driving had a very darkly tinted window.

Edwards admitted to the deputy that her license has been suspended “for insurance reasons,” according to an arrest report. Edwards had been cited on Wednesday by Wildwood police for driving while license suspended.

Edwards has seven prior convictions from 2009 to 2015 in Lake and Sumter counties for driving while license suspended.

She was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,000 bond.

She was issued a written warning for the window tint violation.
