Woman’s car loses front bumper after hitting landscaping trailer in front of Wildwood City Hall

A woman’s car lost its front bumper after crashing into a landscaping trailer last week on U.S. 301 in front of Wildwood City Hall.

The accident occurred at 11:04 a.m. June 20, according to an accident report released Monday by the Wildwood Police Department.

Gertrudis Rogers, 59, of Wildwood, had turned out of the parking of Our Mother’s Attic at 115 S. Main St. and onto U.S. 301 when her 2009 Nissan Altima struck the trailer of a truck owned by Central Florida Sod & Landscaping which had been northbound on U.S. 301. The landscaping truck had been driven by William Wayne Jones II, 24, of Summerfield.

There were no injuries.

Let them keep the fence!
