Work continues at a brisk pace at the new Pinellas Plaza on County Road 466A. And Brownwood Paddock Square is rapidly taking shape.

New businesses going in at The Villages’ newest shopping plaza include Paws and Claws animal clinic, a UPS Store, Peachwave Frozen Yogurt and Better Health Chiropractic. Sweet Bay supermarket will have a store there, too. Walgreens will be nearby. Citizens First Bank will be located in the shopping facility as well.

Over at Brownwood Paddock Square, World of Beer is slated to open Sept. 2. The 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness facility named MVP Athletic Club will be located at 3564 Kiessel Road and is slated for opening Nov. 1.

Also, going in at Paddock Square are Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Scooples Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor.

The evening music presentations on the Dog Trot Stage at Paddock Square have already attracted a loyal following. The City Fire restaurant continues to attract diners, and the restaurant’s outdoor patio and bar have proven extremely popular.
