Zanah Cornell

Zanah Cornell, age 79, of The Villages, FL passed away in her home on Saturday, June 13, 2015, after a long illness. She was the wife of Stuart Cornell for 59 years. Born in Winsted, CT, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Monthay Aid. She enjoyed life on Long Island, NY and Titusville, Florida, before settling in The Villages. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Brevard County as a computer specialist. She excelled at anything artistic, and her beautiful craftwork could be seen throughout her home. She will be deeply missed by her husband Stuart, son Dr. Christopher Cornell and daughter Kaia Cornell, granddaughter Kendra, sisters: Selwa, Elaine and Lila, and friends and family in Florida, California and New York. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 12:30 p.m., at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL, followed by interment in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. A Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the service.
