Marlyce ‘Ann’ Peterson obituary

ba3b2d4ce85e6824Marlyce “Ann” Peterson, 79, The Villages, FL, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013. She passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side. Marlyce “Ann” was born in Superior, WI and retired with her husband, Dick, to The Villages in 2000; they were married for 55 years. She spent several years as an executive secretary, employment counselor and Mary Kay beauty consultant. She was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, FL. Marlyce “Ann” loved to bowl, golf, cook, play bridge and entertain family and friends. She is survived by her husband Richard Peterson, her children Susan McSherry (Roland), York, PA, Bradley Peterson (Cindy), Westerville, OH and Karen Hawley, Powell, OH; her grandchildren Mathew and Madison McSherry; Blake and Kelsey Peterson; Olivia Hawley; brother Duane Swanberg and sister Lorna Bedard and numerous nieces and nephews. Marlyce “Ann” was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Francis Swanberg; siblings LuLu Micheli, Loren Swanberg, Allen Swanberg, and Beatrice McGrath. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11am, at North lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, FL with Pastor Dave Stull officiating. Family and friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11am.
