Russell Hinton Jr.

Russell Seymour Hinton Jr., 58, of Weirsdale, FL, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 20, 2013.
Russ was born in Leesburg, FL.  He attended Leesburg High School and continued on with a career as an electrician with 30+ years servicing the communities of Lake County.
He enjoyed reading, hunting, science fiction; ford trucks, and family. He was a true Floridian born and raised. His first job was at a local packing house. He was the proud son of a fruit inspector and passed that love of nature on to his family.
Russ is survived by his Wife, Carolyn Hinton; Sister, Linda Fugate; Son, Russell S. Hinton III; Daughters, Lisa Van Swaringen, Ladonna Collinsworth, and Emily Ann Hinton.
The family of Russell S. Hinton Jr. has arranged for private graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Southeastern Healthcare, In memory of Russell Hinton, UF Health, Attn: Belinda Richardson; PO BOX 100306 Gainesville, FL 32610.
