Investigation continues into death of maintenance worker in Villages

Investigators are still trying to piece together details of an incident earlier this week which left dead a maintenance worker in The Villages.

Fred Bradshaw Jr. was pronounced dead a day after he was found unconscious inside a manhole near Brownwood on Monday. Another worker was also found unconscious at the scene at Buena Vista Boulevard and County Road 44A.

The Wildwood Police Department indicates that Bradshaw’s death remains under investigation.

Bradshaw was taken to Leesburg Regional Medical Center were he was later pronounced dead, according to Lindsey Bayer, director of Operations at District 5 Medical Examiner’s Office.
