James E. Moynihan

James E Moynihan, 78, of Summerfield passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013. Mr. Moynihan was born November 24, 1934 in Cambridge, Massachusetts and moved to Marion County in 1993 from Fredericksburg, VA. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a decorated Viet Nam Veteran retiring from the U.S. Marine Corp after 20 years of service. He enjoyed bowling in Spanish Springs and playing softball at Spruce Creek South. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Faye; son Edward (Geri) Moynihan of Fredericksburg, VA; daughters, Brenda L. Murray of Summerfield and Teresa A. (Claude) Deibler of Duncannon, PA; brother, William of Ocala and sister, Marion Sudduth of Clearwater; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. For those wishing memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion.
