Lady Lake mother facing charges in crash that left her child injured

A Lady Lake mother is free on bond but faces numerous charges following a weekend accident in which her two-year-old child suffered injuries.

Katie Myranne Shrader, 27, faces charges of leaving a crash involving damage to property, driving under the influence and damage to property, child neglect without great harm, DUI and serious bodily harm to another. The arrest was made by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident took place Friday night on Grays Airport Road. Her two-year-old child was injured in the crash and originally taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center but was then airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

She posted the required $75,000 bond on Monday. She has a court date on Oct. 14.
