3 AMIGOS COMES FROM BEHIND IN AN 11-7 WIN OVER CEBERT

Cebert held 3 Amigos scoreless for 4 innings and led 6-0 going into the 5th.
3 Amigos erupted for 11 runs over the next 2 innings aided by Mark
Hildebrand’s 2 run OTF homer and Woody Wood’s 3 hits. Henry Ship homered
for Cebert, while Bob Buchanan, Mike Daly and Ed Walker each had 2
hits.  Terry Cole and Alan Jackson both made outstanding outfield
catches to help hold off Cebert.

CAREPLUS WINS ON A WALK OFF SINGLE( 15-14 ) OVER BABIARZ

Don Roberts singled home Ron Hellier to tie the game in the bottom of the 7th.
After walks to Tom McGann and Bob Roth loaded the bases, Dave Oatley
singled home Sergio Carreras to walk off with the win. Ton McGann,
George Kennedy and Dave Oatley each had 3 hits for Careplus who held
Babiarz scoreless over the last 3 innings. Ed Moriarity had 3 hits and 4
RBI’s for Babiarz.

HARLAN PULLS OUT 8 INNING THRILLER OVER IHOP 13-11

Harlan scored 4 runs in the top of the 8th
inning with key hits from Rich Hopkins, Chick Cicatelli and John
Weisiger. Rich Hopkins led Harlan with 4 hits.  IHOP scored 2 in the
bottom of the inning and thought they had a winning bases loaded hit
until Mike Pelick made a spectacular catch of a drive by Dale Moses to
end the game.  Terry Yanny and Paul Justice each had 3 hits for IHOP.
Don Fox also made 2 great catches to help Harlan hold off IHOP.

MULBERRY IM BREAKS INTO THE WIN COLUMN OUTLASTING SRG 18-15

Mulberry led SRG 15-7 going into the bottom of the 6th inning but SRG scored 8 runs to tie the game. Mulberry came back in the top of the 7th thanks to a double by sub Jim Glover and a triple from Bill Yeager. SRG failed to score in the bottom of the 7th
and rookie manager Ken Scanlon got his first win and Mulberry’s first
win in 2 seasons. Chuck Bowman and Chuck Alexander each had 3 hits and 3
RBI’s for Mulberry.  Randy Bowen had 4 hits and Manny Sanchez had a
solo homer for SRG.

METLIFE HOLDS OFF PERKINS 9-6

Perkins jumped to an early 4 run lead in the 1st inning but were then held scoreless until the 7th
inning by MetLife. Meanwhile led by Harold Holiman, Kerby Campanella
and Fred Bruce’s 3 hits each, MetLife scored in every inning from 2
through 5.  Gordie Lewis, Jim Morton, George Loew and Bill Begley each
had 2 hits for Perkins.

FROSS & FROSS SCORES BIG TO BEAT SAGE POINT 16-7

Led
by 3 hits each from Larry Hollrah and Artie O’Neill and 5 RBI’s from
Dean Watson, Fross & Fross piled up 16 runs to beat Sage Point. Bill
Landis and Reno Saculla each had 3 hits for Sage Point.
