The Village Voices Chorus will be in concert Dec. 19.

The Village Voices Chorus is one of the oldest resident groups in The Villages.

The chorus has more than 130 members. They are limited only by the space on the stage.

The Village Voices, made up totally of Villagers, is the largest senior chorus of this type in the United States. They perform three concerts a year.

Like so many other performers, the renovation work at the Church on the Square left the chorus in search of a new home. They found that home at North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake.

The holidays are rapidly approaching, and as they say in Showbiz, the show must go on.

The Village Voice Chorus has been busy rehearsing for its December concert, “Joy to the World” From Around the World.

The concert will feature a glorious mix of sacred and secular music accompanied by many talented musicians.

The chorus is conducted by Sandra Willetts.

The concert will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 at North Lake Presbyterian Church

Tickets are $10 and available through The Villages Box Office.

Remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
