Work off that Thanksgiving meal in 5K Saturday at Polo Fields

Feeling a little stuffed after Thanksgiving?

You can “Run, walk, or crawl” your way through the first Leftover Turkey Trot 5K, hosted by Community Bank & Trust of Florida on Saturday morning at the Village Polo Fields.

The event is open to the public with registration starting at 7 a.m. that day. The race starts at 8 a.m. All are welcome to register at Community Bank & Trust, located at 2285 Parr Dr in Lady Lake, FL.

The event is being sponsored by the Veterans & Medicaid Planning Group and Millhorn Elder Law Planning Group, with 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit Project SOS to help our veterans.
