Girls Scouts from Brandon satisfy Starbucks craving on road trip to Villages

The Girl Scouts of Troop 1296 from Brandon got a craving Saturday afternoon for Starbucks.

But they were on a camping trip at Camp Wildwood.

“Let’s go to The Villages,” suggested Lexi Cuevas.

Seems she had the inside track. Her grandparents are Duane and Cheryl Greer of the Village of Pennecamp.

So the girls and their leaders piled into cars and headed to Lake Sumter Landing.

Only Lexi had been to The Villages. The others were amazed.

The Girl Scouts had their picture taken in front of the Christmas tree at Market Square. And then they headed back to camp.
