Yard waste pickup for Christmas trees set for Wednesday, Jan. 8

If you live in the Sumter or Marion county portion of The Villages,  the next scheduled yard waste pick-up will be on your normally scheduled day of Wednesday, Jan.8.

If you didn’t put your Christmas tree out on Dec. 28, you can put your tree out on Jan. 8.  Only live Christmas trees should be placed out on yard waste pick-up days.  Please be sure your tree does not contain any ornaments, tinsel, lights, or other objects.  Artificial trees can be placed in your normal trash or you can schedule a special pick-up by calling (352) 748-0109.  We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to servicing you!

If you live in the Town of Lady Lake or the Lake County portion of The Villages, please contact your provider, Waste Management, at (352) 787-4416 to verify your holiday collection schedule.
