DIVISION FOUR ACTION

BOBCATS SURVIVE CELTICS 20-19;
MURPHY/SNEDDON HOT HITTERS

In a wild back-and-forth barn-burner, the Bobcats (3-4) escaped with a 20-19 victory over the Celtics (4-3) behind the winning pitching of Dave Bigelow.  Pat Murphy led the Cats with four hits including a triple, a homer and seven rbi’s.  Dick Sneddon smacked three hits with a double, triple and four ribbies. Bill Welker also had four hits with a two and three bagger while Dave Paul added a two run triple.
Dave Bronte, Charlie Riggs and Gordon Nicholson led the Celts with three hits each.  Celts short fielder Dave Snow was a defensive star cutting off three very hard hit liners headed to the fence.

Bill Greider, Roger Mott, Mick Mc Evilly, John Columbia and Ed Meyer each contributed two hits

In a back and forth game the Lakers came from behind in the 6th inning to beat the Pacers 15-13.
