WINTER NOTES:
1- Reminder:
Players must be at the fields (not in the parking lot), no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled game. Managers submit their lineups at that time and missing players will be replaced by substitutes.
2- Rules:
a) 7-D defines interference as “an act which impedes or confuses a fielder attempting to execute a play.” The act does not have to be intentionally designed to interfere.
b) 6-A-v: “A courtesy runner may not be replaced by another courtesy runner except for injury causing removalof the original courtesy runner from the game.” The player who was using that courtesy runner may then have someone else designated as a courtesy runner.
3- CONSECUTIVE HITS
Mike Ratajczak had 20 straight hits going into yesterday’s game. He was one-for-three which means that the streak ended; the scoresheet has to be reviewed to determine if it ended at 20 or at 21.
