Nancy Lopez inducted into Legends Hall of Fame

Villager Nancy Lopez, a three-time winner of the LPGA Championship (all of them at Kings Island – 1978, 1985, 1989), was inducted Thursday into the Legends Hall of Fame in French Lick, Ind., as part of tournament week at the Pete Dye Course.
Inducted with her was Jane Blalock, founder and chief executive officer of the Legends Tour, the LPGA’s senior tour.
Lopez won 48 times on the LPGA Tour, Blalock 29. The three-day Legends Championship begins Friday (AUG. 15) at the Dye course at French Lick Resort.
