A 38-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly dumped 600 to 800 gallons of raw human waste sewage on property off Grays Airport Road.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies were called Tuesday to 39040 Grays Airport Road to investigate a complaint of illegal dumping.

Deputies were able to track down Robert Allen Soltysiak of Leesburg Septic.

The Weirsdale resident told the deputy that he was having trouble with a valve and had dumped the contents of his truck at that location, according to the arrest report.

The report noted that there were three more older sites where someone had dumped sewage in the past.

Soltysiak was charged with dumping raw human waste and booked at the Lake County Jail. He posted $2,000 bond and was released.

He is due for arraignment April 8 in Lake County Court.
