Showcase of Talent donates $3,000 toward scholarships for students

Joe and Diana Arlt, representing the Showcase of Talent Club, recently donated $3,000 to the Bob Washington Jazz Scholarship Fund managed by the Jazz Lovers’ Club of the Villages. Accepting the donation were Walter and Barbara Griffith, leaders in the Jazz Lovers’ Club of the Villages.

Scholarships in the amount of $15,000 will be awarded to Young Jazz Musicians at the club’s annual awards competition at 5 p.m. April 26 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center.

All residents are invited to hear these talented musicians perform.
