An 18-year-old from Lady Lake is facing a felony charge after she allegedly blackened the eye of another teen over a Facebook post.

Savannah M. Bruns is free on $25,000 bond following her arrest by Leesburg police on a charge of burglary auto-assault or battery.

Bruns, a student at Leesburg High School,  and the victim had gotten into a dispute on Facebook, according to the arrest report.

The victim drove into her subdivision on Wednesday after picking up her paycheck at McDonalds and saw Bruns and a friend in a Ford F150. Bruns allegedly approached the victim, who was sitting in her car with the window down, and Bruns pushed and then punched her in the face, the arrest report indicated. The victim went to her home and called 911. Bruns and the friend allegedly continued to try to antagonize the victim while she was on the phone with 911.

Bruns was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Leesburg High School.

The victim is a juvenile and her father signed an intent to prosecute.
