The group building the new retail development that will house Stein Mart has expressed hope of opening two weeks before Thanksgiving. Outward appearances would suggest their doors will be open in time for holiday shopping.
The new 52,000-square-foot retail development behind McDonalds and Tire Kingdom on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake is going up swiftly.
Stein Mart will occupy 32,000-square-feet of the development.
ULTA Beauty will also be locating a store in the new shopping plaza.
The third tenant has not been announced.
The retail space is being developed by Benchmark Development Corp.
Stein Mart is an upscale, boutique-style men and women’s department store chain based in Jacksonville. The company operates 260 stores in 29 state with locations primarily in the southeast and Texas. Stein Mart stores carry recent trends in clothing for both men and women. Additionally, home decor, accessories, and shoes are all available at discounted prices.
