To the Editor:
I have read many letters to the editor about the lack of security the “security” gates provide. I wish to point out that the purpose of the gates is traffic control only. They are to get cars to come to a complete stop so golf carts have a chance of getting across the street safely. They are not to provide that only Villagers can get into the community. We do not live in a gated community, we live in a community with gates!
