A 61-year-old resident of The Villages is facing a charge of disorderly intoxication after she allegedly banged on doors in the early morning hours on the Historic Side.

Susan Cervo of 1607 W. Schwartz Blvd. was arrested Dec. 8 after residents on Paradise Drive reported that a woman had been knocking on their doors at about 3 a.m., according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. One woman reported that after she heard the knocking, she went outside and saw Cervo sitting on her golf cart, smoking a cigarette.

She was located by police about two blocks from her residence.

When Cervo was asked why she had been knocking on doors, she told police that all of the houses looked the same and she was having a hard time finding her residence.

She was arrested and booked at the Lake County Jail.

Cervo had been arrested in September after she allegedly kicked a deputy in the groin at The Villages Regional Hospital. You can read more about that incident HERE
