Woman accused of deliberately driving her vehicle at boyfriend in driveway

A 33-year-old woman is facing a charge of aggravated battery after she allegedly deliberately drove her vehicle at her boyfriend in their driveway.

Jessica Devon Seward was arrested on the second-degree felony charge after the incident at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at their residence on Fifth Street in Wildwood.

She pulled the Dodge Magnum into the driveway and spotted her boyfriend cutting the hair of a person seated in a chair in the driveway, according to an arrest report. The boyfriend was able to jump out of the path of the car. He told police he believed she had done it deliberately.

Seward was booked on $25,000 bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
