Adriano U. “Tony” Udani, MD, 80, The Villages, Florida, passed away on August 10, surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Udani was born on September 7, 1936 in Buguey, Cagayan, Philippines to his parents Eugenio Udani and Margarita (Umayam) Udani.
He was a retired physician (General Practice), who served his patients in Chicago. He was an avid golfer and former bowler. He loved being surrounded by his family, most especially his grandchildren. He and his loving wife moved to The Villages in 2015 from Palos Heights, Illinois and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, Florida. He was a proud member of the A.M.A. (American Medical Association), Philippine Medical Association, Tamaraw Golf Club in Chicago, Illinois, Club Filipino and Fil-Am Club of The Villages.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Felisa Udani of The Villages, FL; three sons: Edwin A. (Jill) Udani of Schererville, IN, Kevin A. (Lisa) Udani of Frankfort, IL and Adriano A. (Andrea) Udani, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; a daughter: Carolyn U. (Dan) Yee of Winter Garden, FL; eight Grandchildren: Matthew, Joseph, Mary, MacKenzie, Caden, Danielle, Helen and Mabel and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL. with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida.
