A reward is being offered for the return of a beautiful framed painting taken this summer from an exhibit in The Villages.

The acrylic painting, titled Redheads II, is a 12-inch-by-24-inch canvas of two sandhill cranes.

It is the second in a series of three paintings of the birds, said Jack Ottilige, vice president of the Visual Arts Association.

“The first Redheads won Peoples’ Choice first place in Arts Round the Square on April 9 and was purchased that day. Redheads III is still in possession of the artist,” Ottilige said.

If you have information regarding the location of this painting, you are urged to call 352 446-8892.
