Village of Virginia Trace man found slumped over in vehicle parked at Circle K in Fruitland Park

A Village of Virginia Trace man was arrested after he was found slumped over in his car early Tuesday morning at a Circle K service station in Fruitland Park.

Jon Clayton Fillingim, 48, was found sleeping in a black Kia Soul at about 3:30 a.m. at the service station located on 100 W. Miller St., according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department.

A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

Fillingim was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $3,000 bond.
