Realtor said it was a gated community

To the Editor:

When touring The Villages, realtors use the term “gated community” frequently. We felt so special when we were issued our resident entry card. As time passes we realize that it’s just a come on to make senior citizens safe. I WANT MY GATE. Little by little our amenities are being eliminated. The beauty of Morse Blvd. and Buena Vista Boulevard is dwindling also. I REPEAT: I WANT MY GATE.
