What’s your favorite Christmas movie?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in The Villages, and while we may not have folks dressed up like Eskimos or chestnuts roasting by an open fire, there is no denying that the holiday season is upon us.

And what better indicator that the holiday season is here than the never-ending barrage of Christmas decorations, parties, songs, and most notable of all: Movies.

As you celebrate this holiday week, you may take to your living rooms to watch a burlesque lamp being destroyed (“A Christmas Story”), a kid eluding two crooks with a booby-trapped home (“Home Alone”), a man going on trial to prove he’s Santa Claus (“Miracle on 34th Street”), or even an NYPD detective saving hostages from the Nakatomi Plaza (“Die Hard”).

Whatever your traditional favorites may be, rest assured that millions others are watching those same movies this holiday season.

That’s why we wanted to pose the question to you: What is your favorite holiday movie? If you’re having trouble remembering some of the classics, we’ve compiled a list of some of those and need your help! Leave your comments and let us know which movies you will be watching this holiday season!

  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas
