Driver loses control of vehicle after suffering medical episode on County Road 466A

A driver lost control of a vehicle Monday morning after suffering a medical episode on County Road 466A.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at 8:50 a.m. on County Road 466A about 100 feet west of Buena Vista Boulevard, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver was transported by ambulance to The Villages Regional Hospital.

Villages Public Safety Department firefighters were on the scene of the accident Monday morning.
