A Summerfield woman was arrested by Wildwood police after the discovery of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Rashauna Denise Mincy, 36, had been riding as a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday at U.S. 301 and Maddox Street, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. She was asked to step out of the vehicle and appeared to have something concealed in her hand. An officer discovered that she had plastic bags containing methamphetamine within her closed fist. More methamphetamine was found in her purse.
Mincy was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.
