Frankie Brin 74s wins the 70s plus division of FHCASA Octoberfest

Frankie Brin Financial (FBF) 74s traveled to Auburndale Softball Sports Complex, Auburndale, Florida to participate in the FHCASA Octoberfest.

The team went 4 – 0 while playing in the fourth bracket of the 70s plus Division.

In the first game on Saturday, FBF won 13 – 7 over Lakeland 74s. In the second game, FBF won 11 – 5 against Mello-Pompano 70s.

On Sunday FBF won 18 – 3 over Orlando Flyers 70s to win the championship. In the 2nd game, FBF won 10-3 over Lakeland 74s. Frankie Brin Financial gave up a total of 18 runs while scoring 52 runs.

Frankie Brin 74s went 4 – 0 in the fourth bracket of the 70s plus division to win the championship.

Manager Bob Fuhst summed up the tournament by stating that the team played very well on offense and defense.

John Ramage and Dewey McVicker each pitched two games and did an excellent job.
