Villager’s golf clubs stolen from golf cart while he visits restaurant at square

A Villager’s golf clubs were stolen from his golf cart while he spent time at a restaurant at Spanish Springs Town Square.

The 78-year-old Village of Santiago man parked his golf cart at about 5 p.m. Thursday behind Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge, & Ice Cream and went to Margarita Republic, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He returned to his golf cart at 7:10 p.m. and found his golf bag and clubs were missing.

Stolen were a black Titleist golf bag with multiple Taylor Made golf clubs, with a total value of $1,100.
