A Jeep landed on its side in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at Rolling Acres Plaza in The Villages.
The Jeep had been entering the parking lot from U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at about 1:30 p.m. when it was struck by another vehicle, according to preliminary information from the Lady Lake Police Department. The Jeep was then pushed into a third vehicle before landing on its side.
The woman driving the Jeep was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Initially, she appeared to be OK, but released her seatbelt and fell and hit her head.
In addition to Lady Lake police, Lake EMS and The Villages Public Safety Department responded to the scene.
