Wreaths Across America event links effort in Lady Lake with rest of nation

More than 1,400 Wreaths Across America ceremonies were held Saturday throughout the United States and one of them took place at the Lady Lake Cemetery.

Boy Scouts helped unpack and distribute the wreaths.

The Legion Riders escorted the wreaths to the cemetery. Also taking part in the ceremony were a color guard from American Legion Post 347 and Boy Scouts who helped hand out the wreaths. There were armed forces representatives from each branch of the service and one for the POWs. They each placed a ceremonial wreath.
