John Joseph Silva, 78, of The Villages, FL, December 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Janet (Crossley) Silva. Dedicated father to James Crossley Silva and his wife Karen of The Villages, FL. Son of the late Joseph Hooker Silva and the late Edith Ella (French) Silva. Brother of Elizabeth Aia of Stormville, NY, Claire Sousa of Billerica, MA, Malcolm Silva of Saugus, MA, George Silva of Portsmouth, NH and the late Carole Banks, Lorraine Barry, and Joan Bishop.

John spent 38 years in commercial banking with Fleet National Bank and its predecessor institutions. John enjoyed his Florida home tremendously and the time he spent with friends and family. Some of his favorite activities included bowling, playing cribbage, and following Boston sports teams.
