A Lady Lake man landed behind bars after a family brawl on Christmas Day.

Lady Lake police were called in the early morning hours to a residence on Hartsock Sawmill Road after 34-year-old Matthew Hunt attacked family members, according to an arrest report.

Hunt’s mother saw her son arguing with his wife outside her home. He also threatened his wife with a stone. Hunt then attacked his sister, the arrest report indicated. Hunt’s mother tried to break up the brawl and was thrown to the ground in the process.

Hunt was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and battery. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $13,000 bond.
