Barbara J. Shepherd, 81, Leesburg, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2018 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Barbara was born on October 22, 1937 in Aurora, Illinois to her parents Earl Kesselhuth and Viola (Jensen) Kesselhuth.

She was a retired Remittance Processor for A.T.T. She attended First Baptist Church of Leesburg, Florida

She is survived by her son: James Zimowske of Greenbay, Wisconsin; a sister: Nancy Filzer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her dear friend George Fencik and many dear neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Harvey Shepherd and a beloved son, Frederick J. Zimonske.

Private Entombment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10 a.m.
