Donald L. VanDonkelaar Sr.

Donald L. VanDonkelaar, Sr., Fruitport, Michigan passed away on January 11, 2019 in Leesburg, Florida. Donald was born on July 2, 1953 in Muskegon, Michigan to his parents Peter Garrit VanDonkelaar, Sr. and Clara Jane (Fitt) VanDonkelaar. He had recently retired from Izzy Designs located in Spring Lake, Michigan as a Machine Operator. He was a lifelong resident of Muskegon, Michigan and was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles lodge of Muskegon, Michigan. He is survived by his loving children: Don VanDonkelaar, Jr. of Fruitport, MI, Selena Baird and her husband Nathan of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Chad VanDonkelaar and his wife Sam of Hope Sound, FL; two brothers: Herman VanDonkelaar of Branch, MI and Paul VanDonkelaar of Spring Lake, MI; ten grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in Michigan at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leesburg.
